Looking to try a switch barrel setup so something has to go. I'm going to make one of my new barrels this cartridge again so I'm keeping the dies but will throw in 50 brass. The scope and rings and bipod are also not for sale but I could make a package with a leupold mark5hd 3.6-18 pr1moa illuminated. The rail will stay with the rifle.
I have around 250 rounds down the tube and never ran hot.
Specs:
All work done by Garrett Preece of Preece Precision (other than fluting)
Sako 85 L action trued
Near manufacturing 10 moa rail
Fierce stock bedded to the action
Bartlien barrel 1:9.35 Rem Varmint finished at 21.5" Karl Kampfeld fluted the barrel
Preece trigger spring installed
Salmon River Solutions titanium self timing break
Cerakote stone gray

I have about $4500 into this.

The only partial trade I'm looking for is another 338 bartlien, brux, or krieger in 9.3-9.5 twist rem varmint, medium, or heavy palma.

$3800 shipped usps money order or personal check until it clears.
$5600 with Leupold listed

Weight? What were you shooting and what speeds were you seeing?

This is the weight without the bipod.

The scope is 30 or 32 ounces and rings 2 or 3 ounces.

Shoots the longer heavy bullets (270 eldx and 285 eldm) in the .4-.6 moa range. I had a good load with rl 26 at 2641 fps. Doesn't sound like much but it carries a LOT of energy and long ways. I'll have to find my notes for the 270 eldx. I didn't do much other than a couple pressure tests with them since I just found them after 2 years of non available.
