I am getting ready to load some more new rounds for my Edge, What is the recommended trim to length that I should trim to? Also I have heard of people trimming before sizing, is that exceptable? I am using 300 ultra mag brass.
Thank you for the help

pdog,
My chamber length was 2.865, so my trim length is 2.850
If you don't know what your chamber length is, get a Sinclair chamber length gauge, about $ 7.00

After sizing up from .300RUM brass, I have never had to trim before the first two firings.

i just getting in to the long range shooting, and seen on some videos that some hunters and shooters were shooting 1200 to 1900 yards. is a 338 superamerica rifle 26 inch barrel capable of doing this accuartely, and what will be the best kind of scope to use for this challenge? as you can see i need all the help i can get. i am well aware of some high prices but sure would appreciate any help you can give me.

Thank you so much
