[QUOTE="Deleted member 46119, post: 1245889"] Bigger is not always better. In my opinion it was not wise for Nosler to compare a 338LM to a 33 Nosler with a 225grain. Though 225Grain is a bullet weight that my 338/26-Nosler shines at. That 3025fps for the 33 Nosler seems pretty legitamate, I can go faster than that. Compared to the 338 LM from Hodgdons reloading at 3046fps with a compressed load of Retumbo under a 225. Here is how I see the "performance", if I missed your favorite 338 or you disagree with my order, remember, this is just my experience in life, your life is different: 338-378 Wby 338 Edge +p tied with 338LM improved 338 Edge 338 Lapua tied with 338 Norma 338 RUM 338/26-Nosler 33 Nosler 338 WinMag 338 Federal I don't always need a 338-378 but when I do, BOOM. It's on it's way. I don't always want to carry 16lbs 338 Edge but when I do, for prone or bench I love it. I love the hunting aspects of my 338/26-Nosler. If I were to do it again, would I have a 33 Nosler. Meh. I got mine. I bet it will fit lots of folks needs better than the 338 RUM or 338WM. 338 WinMag, I rechambered my 338 WM to 338/26-Nosler. As a 338 WM, the rifle didn't excite me because of being limited to 225 grain as a 338/26-Nosler. :D Anything I didn't comment on, I don't have. I have been behind the scope of a 338 LM. Meh.
