A friend is headed to Alberta for an Elk hunt in September, and need a new stick. I put this .300 Win together using our Axiom action.
    Complete DLC action.
He’s a 500 yard shooter, so I set him up to use the Hornady 178 ELD-X.
2.26” group on steel at 500 yards last night.
Pretty sure he’ll be a happy camper when he picks it up today. 1D7C108A-B197-454D-8F3B-7E9C6CB42473.jpeg 588D4D40-D8EE-487C-A3C3-477E46B7314A.jpeg 691366B0-6FE3-4FA8-BD38-3256B7F2587F.jpeg

Great shooter. I am not used to seeing one of you projects without a wood stock!

Wow. Gorgeous, in a different way than your usual wooden masterpieces, but not a lesser way. Bravo!

This guy is a hard core hunter, and I’m not sure wood was the right stock for him...
I prefer McMillan stocks as they inlet for our actions, and they don’t require much work prep for bedding.
