[QUOTE="Lenny Foffa, post: 2650007, member: 100742"] I happen to own three MarK V rifles. The Mark V deluxe in 270 Weatherby Mag and the Mark V Deluxe in 300 Weatherby mag. Both of these are Japanese Rifles from the Late 70"s The Mark V Ultralight ( 6 Lug ) is chambered in 270 Win. Speaking just for myself, The .270 Weatherby mag shot extremely well at the Bang Steel shooting school where I was able to shoot and HIT targets at 1000 and 1100yards over and over using the Nosler 150 Grn Accubond LR bullets at 3000 fps. This year I will return with that rifle to the school and then go directly on a White tail deer hunt , in N. Carolina where a set up on a large Bead Field will allow me the opportunity for a 500 yard shot . This year I will be using the Nosler 130 Grn Ballistic tips, at 3300 fps . Love the rifle and Im a huge fan of the .270 Bullets on Whitetail Deer and Mule Deer, and medium sized game in General. Both of the Mark V Deluxe rifles still have their factory Original 26 inch barrels. Below are two targets one is three shots of the 270 ,130 Grn Bullets at 300 Yards about a month ago, the other is 5 shots of the 270 ,150 Grn. ABLR bullets at 100 yards.
