I keep saying I don't want to drive that much again next year.....but I get the feeling I will again. I am trying like hell to get guys to try it. I just baught Danny Brooks' 300 wby LG for a couple of brothers here for LR hunting, and they are also interested in compeating. I took my oldest JR PETA member out shooting on Sun afternoon. He insists on shooting at least one of my deer, but he has been absolutly TERRIFIED of anything bigger than a .22. Litteraly run and hide and cry. I never pushed the issue. Now he is 14....all of his classmares have tags this year and NOW he is all fired up. He shot my Dasher with the original synthetic stock it wore from the factory as a swift and pumped out two 1 1/2 inch , five shot groups at 300.....about as good as that gun will do with that stock. I am thinking he might like to try 1 K also. I know my 9 year old can shoot. He has been killing does for me since age 5.:D:D We just have to make sure that the Harris club and the Pella club don't step on each others toes. Clubs that close together should NEVER schedual on the same day. I had this discussion with Lee Fisher and Dave Holland, but I am afraid my rookie status won't carry much weight. Thanks, and hope to see you next summer, Tod
