I'm running a 300 NM Improved LPR cartridge. I've developed a load for the 180gr Hammer Hunter for this cartridge. It's what I consider ideal performance on elk. I've taken 2 elk in 2 seasons with it and both were 1 shot quick kills. Accuracy is sub 1/2 MOA when I do my part, and velocity is quite high resulting in great performance and confidence out to long range. Though my elk were at 226 yards ans 357 yards only.
