I got out this afternoon for a bit and busted through some snow Banks with the 4 wheeler to get up to a private spot to test some RL33 in the 30. Laying in the wet logging road wasn't the most comfortable and I found out the ticks we're already out, but was able to get a fair rest. I first tested for velocity with the 215 Berger and the top load I had with 91 grains clocked 3196' for a single shot over the magspeed. The primer held and no sticky bolt lift but likely would only get about 3 firings with this load! The 2 loads that I tested for seating depths accuracy were charged with 88 grains for 3067'. The first load was at 3.720" which was .012" off the lands and the second at 3.741" was jammed .009". Both were .4 or better for 4 and 5 shots. I wish I had more N570 as it showed well the first time out. It's probably time for a good cleaning too as I'm at 100 rounds down the barrel.
