30 Sherman Mag - Savage LW Action

Up for sale is one of my Shermans. Just thinning the herd a bit (ok, making room for something else)
I have it's little brother in 28SM on a Tenacity as well as a 7Max on a Tenacity (as well as 3 other Shermans).

Built off a Lightweight Savage Action with a Benchmark barrel shouldered (no savage nut)
Smith work was done Straight Jacket Armory.

Specs:
Savage LW Action LA w fluted bolt
Accufit stock with a webbing type paint job. Couple scuffs in the paint shown in the pics.
The recoil lug area was opened up to accommodate a 0.25" lug
BM barrel contour #3 (muzzle measures 0.650") 23" long 9 twist
Muzzle threaded 1/2-28 with thread protector
3rd Accurate Mag
Rifle Basix Sav-2 trigger
I'll include 57 pcs of 1x Hornady 300 PRC brass
Weights about 9# with scope rail. (about 10.5# with Athlon Midas G2 4.5-27x50 w/ PMR rings)

All I shot from this rifle has been 12rds of factory 300PRC ammo.

it's what comes on the Accustock. I replaced the 5rd magazine with a 3rd is all.

Wish my ultralight 28 was set up while yours but mines the bottom bolt release. Wish this was in the cards for me. I'd own this in a second.

So do you fire form 300 prc or are they the same?

you can shoot factory 300PRC to fireform it. here is a picture of a 300PRC fired brass (right) and 30SM fired brass.

It was decent. Most were sighters. But under an inch for the last few I shot. Definitely be better once hand loaded
