Me 2 movement. Ha The only reason I chimed in is because I own both cartrages and I don't know anything about either of them. A person could spend a life time crunhing the numbers, doing the math ,,, finding a reason to believe that all of it is true or fake. LOL. Purhaps it's not about what the cartridges can do, rather than what the wing nut behind the rifle can pull off. Most tuned in rifles, cartrages, and optics can perform magic,,, hopefully the shooter can make it happen,,, that's what really counts. 10% dialed in rifle to 90% tuned in shooter that day. My biggest challenge is remembering to bring my ammo with me to the shooting range or a rifle when I go hunting. Ha Some folks will say that both of these cartrages are miles apart ,,, others will say there close,,, I don't know since I only follow what works for me. Don't get me wrong nor right since I like both of mine ,,, I've had good hunting stories with both of them,,, I don't notice alot of difference kill critters at 138 yards of long range. They deffinatly Rattle the furry rappers on critters at 70 feet. Ha Like I mentioned in my above post,,, the day will come when my Ought-06 barrel needs changing,,, by that time I'll be old and Gray,,, or should I say,,, alot older and faded... I started the quest for 1 cartridge for everything,,, the magic pixel dust in my dreams is leading me to standardizing the last of my 3 rifles into the short case 30/06. {308 Winchester.} <<<----- Kinda like both worlds. Long range on paper and iron gongs,,, up close and personal on the think skins. Nothing like watching the eye balls bulge when they take the hit. Ha All good in my shooting sports. That's what really counts
