SELLERS REMORSE HAS TAKEN OVER...OFF THE MARKET!!

I have a AR-277 I planned on hunting deer with and knowing that PA restricts semi-auto deer rifles, I was planning to install a Kali-Key bolt, only to find out that even with a Kali-Key installed, I am still illegal. (I sold a legal 'bolt' gun to fund my Wolverine...and...now I find myself doing the reverse...ain't life funny?)

I was serious when building my 277...the full picture shows my 'after market' adjustable stock and topped with my Athlon $600 Midas Tac 6x24-50 scope. The trigger was re-sprung and is now +/-3#.

Shooting groups of .1689" w/85g Barnes and .2646" w/90g Sierra.

As the picture shows, I was SERIOUS about going hunting with it!!

(The scope will go on my next LEGAL bolt gun...I keep.)

(The lower I swap out with my 223 varmint AR-15...I keep.)

What kind of velocity did you get out of this thing?

I don't have a chronograph, but the factory loads state:
2,700 fps for a 90 grain bullet.
2450 fps for a 110 grain bullet.

Some 277 WV reloaders have reported loads as high as 2850, mostly with a 85 grain bullet though.

It's serious enough for my PA deer, if I could use it. A pig exterminator in TX tried it and he was amazed at what came out of a 223 casing!
