Under 300 bc is not a issue. Push a 130 Nos bt or a Berger at 2900+ fps if you want maximum damage. Ive had a completely different experience with my 270 wsm, going at just over 270 win speeds, ~3042 fps with a 130 Nos bt and Berger's. With a Nos bt or Berger its too explosive. Am going to a 129 LRX to stop the damage. A Berger shot in a 120 # doe at about 100 yards broadside/double lung dropped her in her tracks, but the explosive wound channel blew through the diaphragm and ruptured the stomach causing a mess. And a muley buck shot with a 130 berger quartering hard to me in the front shoulder turned that whole shoulder into hamburger. A 130 Nos bt shot into a cow elk quartering hard to at 100 yards hit at the base of neck, the bullet went just under hide blew up a hole as big as my fist and then penetrated about 22-24", stopping at the last rib on opposite side. She went 49 paces with a so so hit really. Bullet went just over top of the lungs, but the initial fist sized hole destroyed the arteries to the brain. And collapsed the diaphragm as well. I loaded some 130 Interlocks for a buddy's 270 win, he shot a muley buck at 383 yards in the neck, cuz he didnt hold for the 25 mph wind, it hit the spine and it ricocheted a bit and exited causing a quarter sized exit wound. Imo any one of the 3 mentioned would work for you.
