Thinking about selling my 25x45 barrel, dies, brass and bullets. Xcaliber barrel, 18" long, 1-10" twist 5R rifling and threaded 5/8x24. It's a hoot to shoot suppressed! SPR contour.

Has Lee dies with it, around 100 Dogtown 223 brass fireformed to 25x45. Have 100+ speer hotcor bullets (87 grain, I believe). Some 90 grain sierra ballistic tips. I have 60 loaded I'd need to pull unless meeting ftf in northern PA.

I don't have a pic of just the barrel but here it is in my straight pull (no gas tube) AR.

It shot 3/4" for me. Not sure on round count but fairly low, and this cartridge should last a barrel a loooong time.

The barrel alone would be almost $400 new. Asking $325 shipped for the barrel, dies, brass, and bullets.

I tried several different powders and charge weights, it shot consistently 3/4" for me. Probably somebody that knows ARs better could tighten it up

Thanks! It seems like it would be an awesome deer gun for kids. Very soft recoil!

I'm just looking to extend my range for varmints and targets with my AR.

I will say though, my then 7 year old son shot it this summer. Hit a 2 moa gong at 430 yards on his 4th shot- first time shooting a centefire rifle, and first time shooting past 50 yards!

Honestly, trajectory isn't great after a couple hundred yards (compared to most centerfires), but it is incredibly soft shooting, and the .257 bullet should thump deer a lot harder than .224.

Might as well dive in 😂
