Folks, I'm thinking of building a rifle in 257 Weatherby Magnum for long range varmint and small deer. Essentially i've come into possession of a 25cal (257) match grade barrel blank with 1 in 10 twist and thought it would be fun to match it to a proven 30-06 type action (sako, tikka, maybe mauser clone) resulting in a calibre new to me and unusual in the UK. I already own a tikka M65 in 25-06 which i love. Does anyone own a 257 Weatherby Magnum or can offer some advice? Thanks Marc
