SOLD/EXPIRED 25 SAUM Reamer for 133-135 grain Bullets

Curious, there is a difference between the "Blackjack" and a standard SAUM. Your reasons for wanting the Blackjack vs std?
Not trying to knock either, there are plus's to both, having built a few of each and few more 25 CMs than i'd ever need!

No big reason for wanting the Blackjack reamer vs. standard.
I just have 500 -131 Ace bullets and figured it would be good to chamber barrel with that reamer and still be good to run the Berger 133-135 bullets.
If there is something that I'm over looking, please feel free to steer me in the right direction.
I looked at the 25 PRC also, but really leaning towards the Saum as I already have some ADG brass rat-holed for my 6.5 saum

Might retire the 6.5 if the 25 will match up to what I'm seeing in my ballistics numbers and what everyone is claiming it will do.

Blackjack is more propriety and just slightly shorter than the SAUM (to prevent any standard AICS magazine fit issues) PRCs are gonna have length issues even in a standard BDL mag length, hence why some manufactures are making mid length receivers. I've had no issue running the SAUM in a AICS/Accurate mag without a buffer plate with any of the longer 25 bullets.
I think the SAC dies that have propriety bushings are the best way to go. You can have 1 set of dies n change out bushings abd litterally load 25, 6mm, 6.5mm, and 7mm SAUM with 1 die set. 90% of all my reloading now is done with 3 die sets, GT, SAUM and CM. (The blackjack case is a SAUM case but like 0.15 shorter than the SAUM if I remember correct).
Though I've built 25 SAUMs on 1-7 twist, their sweet spot is 1-7.5 to 1-7.7
If your thinking of a PRC i'd steer you to go bigger! 257 WBY though some would argue 25-06 or 25-284. I've run that little Weatherby case and it just shoots. I've carried it literally all over the world. There was even a guy running one in the "king of the mile" comp a year a go I believe and he finished I think in the top 50.
The SAUM is easy to form with bushings in RCBS or Redding Dies from 6.5 brass, i've taken most of my Hornady brass and done so, and with annealing easily at 4-5 loadings n not loosing primer pockets. I'm transitioning to better brass next go around but will obviously refigure neck tension n bushing sizes all over.
Maybe this will start to steer u in my personal preference direction LOL

Thanks for the info @Zhomeguy. I appreciate it !
I have a 1:7.5 twist 25 cal barrel coming and have the brass for the saum so that is my reasoning for goin the saum route.
I also appreciate the heads up on the SAC dies. I have been looking them over and really do like their concept. Bit pricey, but Hey, what isn't in pricey in what we do.

I'm gonna continue my search for a 25 Saum reamer and broaden my search for a SAMI 25 Saum reamer that is throated for the 133-135 grain bullets.

Just send your build components to Clayton and Crew at West Texas Ordnance. I've literally sent him the whole she-bang including reamer n it turns out awsome! That said save a few bucks. He already has the reamer, n will talk you thru more specifics. I've had him use a few of my custom cut reamers n I just tell him to keep them. If he has a different chambering set up we debate the pluses n minus of each and what i'm trying to accomplish. I know he has a reamer specific for running the blackjack n those longer Berger's.

I agree on the WTO guys knowing their stuff !!
That's where my 7-300 Norma Improved reamer came from and that round is awesome with the 195 Berger's
I will definitely be keeping them in mind. I'm not in big hurry for this project as I have plenty of great shooting custom guns to get me through the hunting seasons.
This 25 will be an off season tuning project, but would like to have the build in the works while I'm out shedding some blood. 😜😜.

Once again thank you @Zhomeguy
