I’ve owned three different 25-06‘. A Rem 700 sendero sf I saved up all summer when I was 15 and had my dad pick it up for me. I also had a tang safety Ruger heavy barrel and have a Savage 112 heavy stainless fluted I picked up on here about 7 years ago. The Remington was pretty dang accurate and I took my first good buck with it. Ended up trading it for a brand new model 70 sported in 264 win. The Ruger was like every other Ruger I’ve owned. Best groups it would shoot were about 1.25-1.5 inches no matter what loads I threw at it. The Savage I picked up here had a cheap factory plastic stock. I replace it with a Boyd’s tactical and pillar bedded it. If is one of the most accurate rifles I’ve ever owned. It will shoot anything from 75 grains-115 grains 1/2MOA or better. It’s not fussy about powders it just shoots. I have taken lots of animals with it including a pile of Midwest white tails. The 25 is a deer hammer. I shoot 115 Berger’s at 3260fps for deer. If it wasn’t so heavy I’d use it more for deer hunting. But man it’s a hammer
