.22lr to .17 Mach 2 conversion

I have a BRNO Model 2 .22lr that was made in 1974, I want to convert it to .17 Mach 2 but do not know where to look or find a barrel that will suit.
Has anyone done such a conversion? Does anyone know if it can be done?
I want to fit the barrel myself so all I am after is a barrel.
