When my youngest son started hunting with me he was a lil dude, 60 pounds. His older brother was a good bit bigger than him so I bought him an A-Bolt 7 wsm, but my youngest son was way to small for that rifle. I had a buddy of mine call me one day and was at a gun store that was closing down. They had 2 .223 WSSM's in A-Bolts and my buddy talked me into buying one of them, as he has one also and his daughter shoots it. I was skeptical of the chambering for deer, boy was I off! I let him talk me into it , he said if I didnt like it he would buy it from me. well I ended up paying 570.00 for the rifle a set of dies and every piece of brass they had for it and 6 boxes of 7mm 140 grain partitions and a couple boxes of 60 .224 grain partitions :) everything was 50% off. I stared loading 60 grain partitions at just under 3800 fps and the love affair started lol, he has killed over 20 deer with it , and shot his biggest this year (10 point) . he has never lost a deer with it. the 10 point he shot last year with it was at 300 yards. he did make a great shot on the spine and dropped him
