I can't say for sure since I've not compared the two. My understanding in the debate is the Ackley is 150-200 FPS faster but I'm sure it depends on loads. I have seen 3550-3580 fps with 70 gr Bergers so not sure how that compares in 220 Swift. This rifle was built to shoot 70 and 75 grain bullets and I haven't seen a lot of data for 70 gr. bullets in a 220 Swift.

A standard swift is 14 twist we usually shoot 50-55 grains 37 38 fps they dont handle heavy bullets well/accurate!

I not sure on stock, I don't believe its Remington stock. Nice pillar and glass bedded stock. Smith worked trigger to a nice crisp 20 oz pull. I believe there are just under 300 rounds down the barrel.
Yes it's 9 twist for heavier bullets but shoots 50 grain fine as well.
