New rifle build in 22 XC is showing some promise. Break in loads yesterday with 12 in a ragged hole. The shot to right was a sighter and the 3 low was likely shooter error. Will be reloading next test round today.
Barrel from Urban Rifleman, 8T, 24" on a Savage 110E SA, set in a Kevin Rayhill benchrest stock.

That looks great! His barrels are doing very well. Mine is an 8 twist 22-250, I put in on a Savage model 10 with cheap plastic stock. I'm still working on loads, shot 8 shots at 200 yards today.

Tested 60 gr Berger HPV with 5 powders. All shot decent and speeds 3600-3880. Largest group was .7" and low ES. N-140 did the best. Hope to test them at 300 next week.

I may try a few but this is a groundhog rifle and the heavier bullets are just target bullets. It did shoot well with 77 MK.
