215 Berger Retumbo in 300 Norma

I have Retumbo, H1000 and IMR 8133 to load this custom 300 Norma. Never loaded for this cartridge before. Please limit your replays to this bullet and these three powders. Powder isn't growing on trees lately and I only buy local.

What barrel length & brass are you running?

More info to add. Defiance action, Bartlein 1:10 MTU 27" barrel, Trigger Tech trigger and McMillan A5 stock. Have 500 pcs of Lapua brass.

My barrel should be here in a week or two so starting to gather info. I'm hoping to use the 215's as well

I tried retumbo first in my Norma and did get some descent groups but could not keep SDs below 5 which is I want them. I switched to H1000 and instantly got the groups and SDs I was looking for. Almost all the normas I have run this has been the case and always end up in the 86 gr realm with h1000 and 215s. Best of luck brother

Was always in the 3100 to 3150 realm depending on barrel length.
