Noticed something as I had to order a friend a CDS turret from Leupold.
Last week I sighted in his rifle and decided to shoot it at 654 yards with the last two rounds.
I just pulled up the AB app and used my saved data changing sight-in distance scope height and speed but didn't pay attention to bullet data as I used library.
Elevation was money so went home and later ordered turret. I opened the app and checked BC it said .702 and I thought I remembered it was high 600's??
Well after checking box from two boxes of bullets they say .663 but website says .673 and Applied Ballistic says .702...... .702 seemed to work so that's what I went with.

I believe the .702 is for a 7 twist at Mach 2.25.

.663 is 10 twist at Mach 2.25

That definitely could explain the variation...
I probably should have used the .673 but it will work for his application.

You won't see the BC difference at that range, test it way out there 1200 + and you'll have a better answer

Pretty sure it will not be fired at any targets past 600-700 yards so hopefully you are correct.
