So I've had these bullets sitting for a couple years, my barrel is only a 1/9 twist but with Berger stability calc it seems they should stabilize. So I put together a load with RL33 and to my surprise they are running 2915 fps avg with a 28 barrel and shooting very accurate at 200. I was expecting about 2700 fps as I am loading at 70gr of powder I was shocked when the Chrono showed 2900. I'm seating them .05 off the lands. Is this normal to see such a big difference in velocity?

I had better accuracy with Retumbo. Velocity in upper 2800s with 25" barrel. That was an 8.5 twist rig. Never shot an elk with the 195 but they were hard on antelope and black bear.

I tried rl 33 and retumbo,
My load is
195 n 570 69.5 hrs fedgm215m somy rifle was cut for the 180 ber hyb andis is a 8.22 proof 28 "

That load is 3005 FPS Es of 7 last time is shot it at 1 mile it was 10"

I work try n 570 itsvery temp stable too.
