I have a green mountain barrel that is stainless steel and 18 inches long. Has 5/8x24 muzzle thread and fits a savage small shank with 1:9 twist. Asking $120 shipped. Has 15 rounds down the tube. Be great for 130 grain or under but didn't stabilize the 143 eldx.

I took it to a local smith to have my barrel cut down. He said try this one and keep your barrel. I shoot 143s so won't work for me. Asking for what I have in it.

.795 just back from the muzzle threads. I don't know the exact profile but it is a heavier barrel for sure.

Do you know who chambered it?
Do you have any info on the loads you tried in it? Was wondering if hotter loads might stabilize 140ish grain loads.

It was a blank the Shooters Supply here in Bartlesville chambered. I did the reloads 143 eldx H4350 41.5 grains.
