18” 338 lapua barrel for DESERT TECH

I am looking for a new or lightly used 18" 338 lapua barrel for my desert tech to use with my tbac 338 ultra can. Lmk what you got.

Will the Ultra work on the 18" 338? I haven't looked in a while for that short of a barrel. I run a 22" 338 Norma just fine.

I saw an ad on the Hide not too long ago for one.

Yep. It says it will work on a 16" 338 lapua even. I cant find the ad anywhere.

18" for most magnums, 20" for RUM, yet 16" for 338LM? I might double check with them to make sure that's not a finger fudge/misprint

It says it twice in the description. So im guessing its not a typo. Says it was specifically designed for the 338 lapua down to 16"

Why not just use a .338Federal and save the 60 grains of powder that'll just burn inside the suppressor? If you're going to shoot $5 bills you might as well get $5 worth of horsepower. Since you want it suppressed you clearly don't want what an 18" 338Lap barrel actually is; a flashbang dispenser, to work properly as a flashbang dispenser. Then why bother using .338Lap in the first place? It's your money and you're free to waste it but you're trying hard to waste the living hell out of it.

Because a 16" 338 Lapua will send a 300 grain bullet at 2500 FPS. A 40" 338 Federal won't.
