I like wood stocks because they have substance between me and a controlled explosion when a round is touched off. Having a hollow plastic shell or being jabbed by a metal frame has little appeal. All laminated wood stocks have good grain flow.

Recommendations - Under $0.30 per round for up to 200 yards, rifle.
