Define these words

The guys that come from South Africa to work on our farm each year told me there are 17 total languages spoken there.
I assume that's the whole country, not certain.

I suspect there is cross contamination of verbage to levels we can't fathom.
Well, at least not yet anyhow.?
 
When you figure in acents, areas and slang we have quite a few languages too

One i like from the deep south : Four 'fore four
Technically that would be 3:56 on a clock

Then you can try to figure out the abreviated word style language of the kids just out of high-school
They are so lazy they try to abreviate every word and expect others to understand what they are saying
Heard this one the other day " gone wal to mav to get a bev and bath" --- I think he was trying to say he was "going to walk to Maverick gas station to get a beverage and use the bathroom"-- most of the time I can't figure out what they are saying

I've seen folks say I take it for granite instead of granted, but my good friend says GTS. Google that stuff, he also adds if you can't find it there come to me because I probably know the answer. He is as full of the stuff as Google is.
