Day Pack?

I currently have an Eberlestock X1, but I'm going to upgrade to the Stone Glacier Approach 2800. As I get older and more decrepit my gear gets lighter. I think the X1 would qualify as a carry on. It also has a rifle scabbard that can handle a pretty large rifle.
 
I have a "Team Elk" pack from Eberlestock that i like very much. They have several models with rifle scabbards.

Kifaru Hellbender, I added a gun bearer to it for when I carry my treestand, but without treestand can strap rifle to back of pack, American made & great guys to deal with!
