I've found better prices also. I have primers from 1980's. I don't use for loads now. For back up if SHTF.

I got a brick of Remington LR Mag at Scheels awhile back for $50.
A brick off CCI LR mag for $40 at a sale at GunWerx they have once a year. Box each of GunWerx 6.5 PRC and 6.5x284 for $20 each.
GunWerx/ADG brass was half price. I didn't need anymore of it.
Just checked, 20K just in 209 primers, I shoot a lot of trap, skeet and other stuff!
Over 18K in sr, lr, sp, lp, lmag primers all together!!
Doesn't seam like a lot??

ballpark here but heavier in rifle... only 5300 209's of any flavor...
Scheels had Rem 9 1/2 for like $64 for 1K, I just had to get a couple K's to go with my stockpile. I'll start shooting when it cools off around here lol.

I counted my about 2 years ago. I counted pounds of powder also
I was doing an inventory on everything and also making note of serial numbers, make, description and scope on all guns. I remember i had 24k something then. That's all primers combined. But since then I've bought 3 bricks/3000 and numerous individual flats of 100. Probably over 28k now. Don't make me count again Lol !

There are very few "new" guns I am lusting for, but when something like this comes along I absolutely do not want anyone else to have it. Swiss made, heavy frame P210 that came with the 6" accessory target barrel.
