That could get scary!Witholding reloading supplies to punish America is something I hope don't happen but with the political climate right now....it could happen.

Hopefully our own government pulls there head outa there b**. And stops this as it could hurt our national defense also .

Absolutely!

Used to be one of the most modern country's of the planet.....and now 'we' cant have ammo making or powder making companies hete because the government wants total control over the civilians.........'take away their guns and will to be free'.....then the government can fall to traitors thru our own government...

You can have all the guns you want . The 2A says so but get the ammo well you can't have that now you have a paper weight

You don`t have to " ban " anything.... just starve them to death along with making purchasing and owing a firearm such a colossal PITA that eventually more and more people ( at least the law abiding ones ) will give up and say, " To hell with it. Not worth the trouble. "

Trying to do my part supporting non Vista companies the last few years, never good to have a monopoly or near monopoly. Not an easy thing to do, especially for primers ans budget handgun.

Anyone have suggestions for other domestic options for those two items?

i feel like the Czechs are decent peeps so i'm not too worries IMO

they can make fine rifles and handguns so at least they got that going for em

It's probably a fair argument that the czechoslovakians are more free than some of the states and probably the Canadian companies like Savage rimfire. But even the many rifle companies Behind Enemy Lines in blue States have a second amendment that's unduplicated anywhere in Eastern Europe or the rest of the world for that matter. It does seem like as bad as large domestic Venture Capital groups are, foreign ones seem to be even more heavily influenced by outside forces. Just seems odd that in all of red blooded America there isn't a domestic group that wants to own Vista. Are we so financially destitute we need to risk foreign ownership of the lions share of domestic ammo production?

I read this morning an American company offered 1.2 billion more than the Czecks.

Fiocchi is putting a plant in Arkansas and White River Energistics are possibilities, Fiocchi I think is originally from Italy.Correct me if I am wrong.
Yep,Italy but building a plant on U S soil.

The only experience I have with Fiocchi is a neighbor of mine wanted me to sight his scope in on his 223. So my boys and I did. It was a Savage Axis. So his cheapo gun and 55 gr fmj Fiocchi = 1 tiny hole on paper. I was flat amazed. I hope they do start a plant in the USA.

I just sent them an email asking if they bought out a primer company or start fresh.If I get a response I will relay the info.

The big thing I worry about is the Czech republic has a considerable muslem population.Muslem's loves to torture americans
