Help me pick a pistol…….again!

I'd like to say I'm still in control and not getting addicted to pistol hunting…….

With that being said, help me pick a 10mm pistol with the intention of deer hunting 50-60 yards max. Will be using one of the micro reflex sights

I would say try a few, at least hold them in hand to see what works for you. I have been very happy with the Sig P320 line up so their 10mm offering is what I would choose first. Comes ready to go with a DPP footprint which you could adapt to RMR if you would like. Glock is also popular with the 40 MOS. Ergonomics are not there for me, it feels like holding a 2x4 and I have largeish hands. Both offer good capacity and reliability versus metal framed alternatives.

Hard to tell you a brand, as I like all the ones I have, but since most 1911's are basically identical, go with what you can afford. I have a Springfield armory that is hands down one of the most accurate pistols I own. My Night Hawk, Colt and Dan Wesson are pretty accurate as well.

Can't go wrong here. I got my Custom Carry a dozen years ago. I have only positive experience with Les Baer.

I will have to second it, that Springfield armory is the best bang for the buck. I love mine and although I'm not a 10mm fan boy, I am looking at their 10mm.

I have a Sig XTen mounted with a Leupold DeltaPoint pro and love it. Flat laid out a coyote at 50-60 yards with a 165gr Gold Dot from Underwood. My brother shoots a G40 with a Burris fast fire on it and it would be hard to pick between the two aside from grip comfort. I have recently entertained the idea of an FN 510 after handling one at Cabela's, but the XTen does all I need it to. I am sure a Kimber Eclipse would be quite a contender if a 1911 platform is preferred.

Fusion Arms has a long slide (6") 10mm that is a nice 1911 for the money.
