Unfired 1975 Rem 700 22-250

I have an unfired 1975 Rem 700 in 22-250 with original Refield 6X18-40 scope.
It has a few blems but is gorgeous over all $1500.00 plus shipping.View attachment 315578
We can't purchase, but would love to see more pictures. Love that deep blued barrel! Truly a classic and can't get them like this unless you go to high end manufacture or custom!
Did you have it all these years? Couldn't imagine not shooting a lot of Chucks If we had it!
Thanks for posting

My friends father had it all those years, he got it to go on a prarie dog hunt it just never happened for him.
I have another friend who's father has a really large caliber Weatherby like a 416 or a 460, and his dream is to go on one of those african safaris. He is up there in age so I don't think it will happen for him either, my take is if they have the rifle the dream is still alive.

If I did not respond to someone inquiry please bare with me, I am working an insane amount of hours and the lack of sleep is starting to catch up with me.
it is posted on a couple of forums and have had over 100 responds, some just want more pics even if they are not buying some call me a liar saying it is not possible that it remained unfired all these years, some low ball me to the price of a savage edge or a 783. So I might have missed someone in the mix not to mention I have 2 other rifles I have posted so if you are still interested I will do my best to sort this out.

One of these varmint specials just like this one, unfired, just sold last week on gunbroker for $2125 with no scope!

Would you be interested in a trade for a Legendary Arms 26 Nosler? Rifle has about 25 shells down the tube and shoots great. If interested let me know and Ill send you some pictures.
Thanks for the offer but I am trying to thin the herd a bit or if I was to trade it would have to be something that I can unload fairly quickly

I thought it was a good deal when I posted it for that price

You should contact remington and tell them to give you an absurd amount of money for it. Then they can use it as a guide/blueprint on how they should be building rifles now.

In all serious its an awesome rifle at a great price in todays market. Glws. I wish i could own a rifle like that but can't justify buying a rifle i may or may never shoot.

that's not a bad idea sending it to Remington If it doesn't sell I've decided that I'm gonna start enjoying it

I know a 22-250 is not as sexy as some of the calibers of the week.but it has been around for a long time and will be for even more. while they others have come and gone. 42gr of Varget and a 40gr Vmax will get you 4250 fps. and 40gr and a 53gr Vmax which has a half decent BC will get you 4000 fps what more could you ask for.

I bought one like that. 1977 22-250 VS. Year I was born. I got broke, was selling my body on the street, and decided to sell it to fund my addiction. I sure miss that VS.
