Has a small step at the nut that makes a nice transition from the nut. Looks very clean. Nut will be included. Only selling because it's a little on the heavy side for a hunting rifle and I picked up a sporter barrel.

Hi. My firearms interests are broad, and Covid 19 has put a crimp in my ability to buy outright. After watching the Hornady LR Precision Hunter competition in Colorado a month ago, I'm redirecting my thinking away from Thompson Contenders and back to long range stuff in 6.5 & 7mm. I do have a soft spot for McGowen's barrels and I've been toying with the idea of doing something along the lines of WSM.- just what I haven't the fogiest. Among trade items I have an unchambered 30 cal. SS Broughton 5C barrel blank that's been holding down a corner in the safe. Several handguns, Savage actions, and some TC barrels top my current trade itlem list.
