I used a 2700-B for a year and liked it quite a bit.
Pros- It was super fast. That was the #1 thing I liked about it. Almost instant solutions. Typical Leica RF quality, it would range targets easily that most RF struggled with.
This is kinda a pro and con. The micro sd card holds one profile, which I thought was good and bad. It's a con if your out shooting 3 different rifles, having to carry 3 sd cards, etc. For hunting I liked it. No concerns about what profile is selected or anything like that. Put in the correct Micro SD and go hunting. Pretty foolproof.
Cons- the Leica ballistic program isn't the best. I could be wrong now, (haven't used it recently) but no G7 scales, no custom profiles etc. I never cut a Sd card that lined up perfect the first time. Always had to shoot out to max range then measure how far off the solution was vs real world drops and then go re make the card to match what I was seeing.
Changing any load was a PIA, it involved making a new micro sd and going thru the entire process again.
Imo it's not a BR2500, 2400AB or a Leica 2800.com paired with a Kestrel. It is pretty simple and fast though. It does stop putting out solutions at 1000 yards also so keep that in mind. I think that's about as far as you would want to go with it as far as ballistics with the limits of the Leica ballistic program.
