Short action Mcmillan Game Warden for sale or trade

Stock is inletted for a Bighorn SR action however I had a S/A 700 in it and it worked just fine. Never saw the field. Pillars installed, sendero contour barrel channel, BDL, opended up for Wyatts box. Transition camo
$600 or Will trade for Bushnell LRHSI of SHV F1. I also would consider a set of binos of similar value. I would add cash if necessary.

I have had multiple trades and purchases here. Feel free to PM of text 703 232 2359

I have a 6.5 PRC coming in a Bighorn origin and I may be interested. I don't know if 6.5 PRC is a short or a long. I have emailed Bighorn to find out and waiting on their answer . . . Do you happen to know?

I have had 6.5 PRC in both short and long, so I would make sure before you buy a stock... Although short is most common.

that being said, I have one of these stocks and really like it!

You can build a 6.5PRC on either. it fits short action but some use long to be able to load longer OAL.

Who is building your rifle? Bighorn sells the action and they'll sell what you ask for. They did only recently (past 1-2 months) start offering the Origin in a Long Action. You very likely have a short action and will fit this stock.

One thing with the Origins though is their bolt handle. Depending on which one you got, you may have to relieve the stock's channel for the bolt handle. The tactical bolt knob is big and I had to inlet my stock to have it clear and allow bolt to fully close.

Thanks for the answer. You are correct, the 6.5 PRC does both long and short. Bighorn says they "always recommend going shorter and loading/buying cartridges accordingly, but certain 6.5 PRC cartridges require the long" I have to get back to the builder to see what he spec'd.
