Mountain Tactical bolt stop problem

Probably a stupid question but I installed a MT bolt stop in a Tikka T3X and it won't allow me to remove the bolt without taking the stock off.

The factory bolt stop works fine. I did notice the MT protrudes further on the outside than the factory one. Just curious if anyone had an idea what the literal hang up might be. Thanks

Could you post some pics of the two stops installed?

Have you tried to contact Mountain Tactical ? Ask for tech support they are pretty good with stuff like this.My guess is you may have to relieve the stock but that is a blind answer based on a post and no pics.

Thanks I did send them an email tonight was just hoping I missed something as I was heading to the range tomorrow to break in a barrel! Appreciate it
