can you tell me the model of the savage rifle, or receiver if its not all the original barrel and receiver? is the action and barrel is carbon, not stainless correct? Will the Mcmillan stock accommodate thicker barrels such as a heavy sporter or does any rebarrel need to be a sporter to fit the stock? Thanks?
110. All original. I'm not sure what the material is. It's not stainless. There is room to open the channel up. The McMillan edge is easy to work with.

Not sure on round count but still shoots good. It's an older rifle. I have a couple new barrels if you are worried about barrel life I'll thrown one in.
