My question is the... Why are the crimp edges on the brass head look damaged. Its almost looks like someone took tin snips to the edges of the brass head.

I started to gather my used SST's shotgun shells that I used last year to start learning how to reload. I notice a lot of them had what I would call them as rough almost like a crimped edge on them. Do I take the shells and go to a gun smith to figure out whats going on? Any suggestions???

I've been pushing the 200 yard range for years now. Expansion???? I double lung shot a doe in Missouri around 219-222 yards give or take. She ran about twenty yards and tipped over. I've shot my biggest buck to date, high shoulder just under 200 yards, I still have that slug!

A friend of mine who is in the hunting industry stated that ammo prices are going to jump a minimum of 30% in 2008. Anyone else heard anything about it? Z
