I put a bubble level on the top turret cap and one on the rail and just match them up. Not 100% perfectly accurate down to the degree but c'mon, I'm still just shooting factory ammo ;)

Well they ended up just sending me a new scope, 2 weeks from the day I mailed it til it showed up, very pleased! I see no reason to not keep buying Vortex scopes :) Handled just as I'd hoped it would be.

I love my Bergara B14 Hunter in 300 Win Mag. I bought this rifle as a hunting rifle, so I was looking at things like ammo availability anywhere I take it, and a nice weight, not too light or heavy. Shoots great too, recoil is easy peasy :) No complaints about the 300 Win Mag.

I have never been explained the purpose of breaking a barrel in; this thread has been very informative. I feel like I need to spend the weekend deep cleaning barrels and try actually doing a proper break in on them.
