I’ve got a couple from mesa precision, think they are called pure precision now? Told them the barrel contour and the fit was great. Both have fairly skinny steel barrels in them now (other was a 24” 6.5-284).

Haven’t shot the 175 yet, the 186 does about 2825 from a 20” tube. Barrel hasn’t sped up yet.

284 isn’t going anywhere. Peterson makes brass, which is every bit as good as Lapua. What bolt face is the action you’re using for this? Either will work well- either also needs to be throated appropriately for whatever bullets you’re wanting to shoot to get the potential out of it.
