Has anyone had experience trying to hit a 18" steel circle at a mile with a Rem 700 26" varmit in .308? If so what was the setup. Right now I have DNZ 30 MOA rings and a NXS 5.5-22X 50mm on top and i can do it about once in ten on a good day and not at all on a bad day. With my .338 lapua I can get it to hit sometimes 3 of five and I have yet to do better. Any thoughts on inproving hits with the .308?
