Looks tasty! I got a sous vide rig for a gift about a year ago, and it turns out some awesome game meals. I still grill, sear in cast iron, braise, roast and all the rest, in various combinations. But I'm glad to have the sous vide option, too!
I can personally attest to the IIA of the .38 Special Snake Shot cartridge, especially when fired from a 2" revolver.
I installed a ring of tiny holes in a wooden deck, lower rail, and several balusters... but the **** squirrel just blinked and looked at me like I was stupid before running...
Hm. I didn't seem to have to sign up to donate with a card. (I actually do have a PP account, but I did not log in.)
It did require me to enter some personal info, but no more than I'd have to enter for using a card for checking out as a "guest" at many online retailers.
The PP page offered...

Did you find an outfitter/place to hunt? If so, how was your experience?
I live in NC, but I've got family in Lompoc and go to visit sometimes. Though it's hard to imagine doing anything with a firearm in CA anymore, I would love to explore the possibility of a hog hunt for one of my trips. Any...

Thanks for the welcome messages!
I've been concentrating on pistol/defensive shooting for a while, mostly because I recently moved and no longer have access to the 20 acres of woods behind my old house. (sad) At present, I'm limited to about 100yds at the public range and a few 25yd indoor...
Great re-work story! This thread caused me to sign up here at LRH! :)
I was looking for info on rifling twist rate for my 788 in .243. Mine was also a restoration project, to a degree... I got it in a trade with a buddy, but it was completely underwater when I was flooded in '04. (I had a steel...
Hey y'all,

I found this forum while DDG'ing info on Remington 788 .243 Win rifling twist rate and found some good info.
I have a wide variety of hunting & shooting interests, and I look forward to reading your comments & stories!
