i'm using remington brass and i'm not annealing it.. My next load i'm trying is 4.030 to my ogive with my comparator which puts me at 3.885 oal.. Shawn told me 5 to 10 thousands off the lands.. when i use my oal gauge i'm at 4.100 i went five to ten thou back and no good... We'll see what...

So i'm minis 10 thou off the lands now... i'll try 50 thousands off and see what happens. Are you at sea level or somewhere in the upper elevation like colorado????

I had this gun build specifically for the 300 Grain berger bullet and I'm not getting any results back not happy..with H1000 I get 2777 to 2815 retumbo I'm 2852 to 2899 . So if I set the bullet farther back I'm losing more in the speed department.. but if I can't get this to shoot maybe I...

I'm using the Berger. 300 grain with the federal 215m.. my brothers gun is 224 longer throated and his shoots great.. of course we found what shoots great in that rifle..

I have just purchased a 338 edge with 30 inch tube and i can't get it to shoot.... I have used H1000 92 grains and retumbo 94 grains, all with federal 215M primers at 100 at 3 shoot groups they seems to stray to tennis ball groups which ****es me off... I using my a oal gauge and im at 4.100 on...

i have my edge bullets oal at 3.950 is this to far???? h1000 gets me 2777 and retumbo 2840 but i have a 30 inch tube.. maybe its to far i'm not sure just want it to shoot... i would think the bullet should be moving a little faster than this????

Shawn, if my edge has a long throat .248 or whatever the edges throat is for long one..gun) how far do i seat the bullet out for the best results?? or are all the reamers cut differently?? if you or anyone can help me with this i would be greatful thanks.... whapaho

Shawn Carlock, i just had my edge returned to me. i loaded 300 grain bergers at4.020 an they wont feed so i cut back to 3.970 still wont feed... now i stuck a dummy bullet in a case that split so the bullet would slide easy with in the case and got over all lenght of 4.030..... i'm pretty sure...
