.308 I haven't started reloading yet. So, i'll be running some 168 gr match grade ammo through it for now.

I've used SST's on whitetail. The deer don't run far. I like them.

Get a 20MOA mount. The 4-16x50 should work fine for 1000 yds. I'm planning on using Burris XTR low rings on my Savage 10PC with the 20MOA mount.

I looked at the Swarovski Z5 for my next scope. But, for similar price, I chose the Nightforce. It's heavier, but I'm not hauling my rifle on high altitude elk hunts either.

I just placed my order for a Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 NP-R1 with HS and ZS. :D Thanks for the input in making my decision.
