    How do you eliminate runout

This is why I've become a fan of using match diameter chamber throating over the last several years. IMO it makes run out null and void. When you close the bolt on a round in a match diameter throat (.0004-.0005" over bullet diameter) the bullet has no choice but to come into perfect alignment...

    Virgin brass, or once fired!

This is not true. Let's say his virgin brass was .010" shorter from base to shoulder datum than a fireformed case. If you load the virgin case and fireformed case to same OAL...the bullet in the virgin case will be .010" CLOSER to the rifling after the firing pin moves it forward until the...

    Quickload Data Needed!

I already have a load with RL33 and know intimately what this rifle will put up with. It's far from SAAMI in almost every way. I simply want to see a comparison between the numbers of both powders. If you're not comfortable posting the quickload numbers that's fine, but that's what I need. Thanks

Awesome, can you post the numbers that QL spit out? Thanks!

    Quickload Data Needed!

Hey all, I would really appreciate some help if someone is willing to run a couple powders for me on Quickload. I want to make a comparison with these powders to see if Vihtavouri is worth trying. Thank you! P.S. I'm sure Quickload doesn't list the 245EOL so maybe use 240SMK? 300 RUM 245 EOL...

    Magnetospeed

I believe MS literature suggests 3/8" or less

I'd much prefer a labradar myself but I've heard of too many issues with those. Some work fine and some are problematic with poor customer service and no solution. Until they get all of the bugs worked out it's MS sporter for me. Looking at rail mounts for it as well.

LOL! Looks like nowhere on that invoice did they admit to repairing your problem! But you say it is now fixed correct? Old familiar story!

It really has a lot to do with how a person uses the scope and what's expected/demanded from it. For the guy who digs his gun out 3 days before elk season to see if it's relatively close to zeroed and never dials the turret, he's not gonna see problems as often because he's not demanding much...

Man, clarity is one of those things that's so subjective. I feel like my XTRII is great even on 25x. It's certainly possible that yours could have an issue. I know that Burris would be happy to check it out though. They are fabulous people.

No. The Burris XTRII or NF SHV are a couple great solutions in this price range.

Good point. They can all have issues. I've moved on to Burris quite a few years ago with much better luck than others. I've had a hiccup or two and had to send a couple in. Biggest difference...much, much lower rate of problems and excellent, friendly customer service. Never once had a tech...

Not gonna get into a little ****ing match with you bud, or anyone else for that matter. I've been doing this for a long time and have nothing to prove to anyone. Take it or leave it. It's always amazes me at how quick Leupy fans get their panties in a bunch when people have anything harsh to...

80% on the scopes i worked with, i didn't state 80% as a general rule across the board. Some apparently are having decent luck with them. Also, you need to re-read what i said. While these were customer's scopes, i did the full rifle set up and load work up with those. What difference does it...
