I wish I knew more. I was trying to retain as much info as possible. This guy was good. He checked the rifle for physical issues and it was fine. We took 3 thousands off the shell holder and trimmed the case to 2.580. Fitted the bullet to the rifling and Switched from cci to federal match...
Update: met up with a very knowledgeable guy who worked with me through some hand loads. He immediately suggested going down to a 168 grain bullet and switching to Retumbo. I previously had 175s with H1000. Some more load tweaking and we are at a 1/2 group!
I think I should lose the sled as well. It makes it hard to hold the same way every time. Unfortunately their isn’t much commercially available 28 nosler ammo
Everything I’ve read says your supposed to let the rifle recoil and not try to stop it. I also hold on target and slowly squeeze until it goes off. I try to make Jt surprise
