I shoot the 190s with 94.5 gr of retumbo coming out at 3096 fps. Its really accurate but a tad on the warm side for my gun. My buddy shoots the 230 grainers out of his 300 RUM with H1000, that thing is just deadly accurate. Those 230 grainers seem to buck the wind a fair bit better than my 190s...

My boy has a 6.5x284 and his 130 gr bergers are coming out at 2920 with imr 7828 . The recoil is SO LIGHT ! I had it over 3000 in load development but got the best accuracy - 4shot clover at 100yds right at 2920 fps. Its taken antelope deer and elk , proper shot placement with the 130 grainers...

My boy shoots a savage 6.5x284 but his gun uses 130 grain bergers with 51.2 gr of IMR7828 , just off the lands and that combo gives right at about 2812 on velocity. deadly accurate , really mild and just a joy to shoot !
