I couldn't stand not knowing what the stock weighed without the bottom metal and Picatinny rail so I grabbed a postal scale for myself. Here it is. 19.7 ounces. Like I said, actually pretty light. This isn't some advertised weight and then you get it and find out it weighs more. Still sturdy...

No sweat. It's a great stock, I just ended up going with a short action build instead of a long action.

Weight was with the bottom metal so it's pretty light. No postal scale myself but handling it and then a McMillan that scaled at 26 oz. it was distinctly lighter. If it was a short action I would keep it.
