The New Hornady A-tip match bullet

Aluminium tipped bullet is not new for Hornady, the 750grains 50cal A-max bullet have been out for many years. I guess some of you guys have tested that on game? The new A-tip looks quite similar to that bullet.

    .243 90gr Scirocco

winmagman Is it a standard 243win you have? I think you should give the scirocco bullet a try. If you have a standard 243win, and want maximum velocity, thy the RL-22 or Norma MRP. A review about the scirocco bullet I found at Midway Link: http://www.midwayusa.com/rewriteaproduct/487758 [...

Hi Winmagman! Did you see my picture of the 90gr scirocco bullet at this topic? http://longrangehunting.com/ubbthreads/s...=true#Post37093 When I first start to test out the scirocco bullet I got 3/4" - 1" group(3shot) at 110yard, but my last test shooting with this bullet the groups start...

87 V-Max Entrance bigger than exit

Best LR setup for wildgoose hunting?

I have a 1-10 twist barrel, so the 105-107 bullet won`t stabilize in my barrel. But maybe I will change barrel later, and than I may change to an another cal like(22-250,22-250AI,22-243,6mm Norma br or 243AI) or 243with an 1-8twist. <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica...

Best LR setup for wildgoose hunting?

Hey! What cal and bullet do you think is the best to hit a small target(wildgoose) at distances up to about 400-500yards with sometimes wind up to about 5-7m/s(ca 40f/s)? Today I use a Sako varminter in 243win, and have used 70gr sierra mk, and Nosler 80bt, but I still look for a better/more...

Feasibility of varmint hunting with the .338 Lapua

Feasibility of varmint hunting with the .338 Lapua

Hey M Powered! I use 200gr Nosler Ballistic Tip and 94gr MRP in my TRG 42 for "varmint" hunting. I believe that 180 and 200gr Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet is a better bullet for varmint hunting than Sierra mk, because you get higher speed, and I know that the 200gr Nosler bt will explode water...
