Looking at going elk hunting around the Grand Prairie alberta area, anyone got any tips? Or areas that hold good bulls?

Just pick up a new browning a bolt 3, in 30-06 cal. Bought this just for a rifle to pack around the country at 6.9 lbs its easy to carry around. Anyone have any experience with the new a bolt 3,??? I haven't used it yet.

I didn't look into long magazines yet, I'm going to try out the nosler accubonds 180g just wait for a shipment of powder, h1000 and imr 4350, just going by the nosler book to see how accurate it will be.

Finally got the 300 rum set up. I bedded the recoil lug, and added a vortex 6-24x50. We will find out how it works today!

I have 2 vortex scopes right now, on a 308 and 22-250, I have just picked up a 300 rum sendero and wondering if the vortex viper pst will stand up to the pounding? does anyone have a pst on a big caliber?

Just picked up a 300 rum sendero, never reloaded this cal. before, any suggestions on types of powders, amouts, I will be reaching out to 1000 yards! im still new to reloading.

Thanks for the input!! I think it will be the sendero! Now just down to optics:) was looking at the vortex 6.5-20x50 ffp, not to hard on the pocket but will it withstand 300wm or 300 rum!

Hey guys, been looking at the remington XHR and the sendero, both in either 300wm or 300rum, I have friends that have the sendero and swear buy them, I dont know anyone who owns a XHR with the triangular barrel but they spark my attention, im hunting big game up to 1000 yrds at times, any ideas...

Hey guys, I'm a new to this site. Looking at getting a new 308 I have two in mind and having trouble on which to choose either the savage model fvss or the Remington vtr. Using it mostly for ranges between 100-500 yards, any suggestions ?
